Summer is all about keeping cool and quenching your thirst. While the temperatures rise, so does our need to grab a refreshing cocktail. Luckily, we live in a city with great cocktail programs and plenty of ever-changing menus. We’ve bounced around Brickell and beyond to round up a few must have summer cocktails that are bound to beat the heat.
True Bleau, Sorso at Scarpetta at Fontainebleau Miami Beach
Sorso, a summer popup cocktail lab and infusion bar, inside of Scarpetta is creating some of the summer’s hottest cocktails. Sorso, which means sip in Italian, offers guests a chance to sample one of mixology’s hottest trends – cocktails infused in a cold drip cocktail tower. The infusions are offered daily and while you can create your own bespoke cocktail from house-infused spirits, shrubs and syrups, we are partial to the True Bleau made with Barr Hill gin, grapefruit soda and a pea flower infused ice cube.
White Summer Sangria, Graziano’s
Graziano’s is serving up a selection of unique and exotic blends this summer including its new, house-made White Sangria – a signature twist on a summer classic. The refreshing fruit blend features a mix of imported Mezcal, white-sparkling Gancia, San Pedro de Yacochuya Torrontes and is topped with seasonal fruit including freshly squeezed oranges, sliced apples, pears, and grapes.
Zuma Mai Tai, Zuma at the Epic
Zuma Miami puts their contemporary Japanese twist on this tropical summer favorite, spiked with plum sake, the Zuma Mai Tai is concocted of a house-made rum grog, fresh pineapple juice, blood orange, a squeeze of lime and the perfect essence of almond.
Miami Bellini, Conrad Miami
Located in the heart of Miami’s famed Brickell Avenue, Conrad Miami, is featuring the Miami Bellini, a house-made guava and jalapeno popsicle in a glass of Syltbar, a zero calorie Prosecco. A refreshing concoction to beat the summer heat, the popsicle cocktail is best enjoyed on the terrace at the sky high Bar at LvL 25 or at the rooftop pool, overlooking the azure waters of Biscayne Bay and the Miami cityscape.
