One-of-a kind drinks, good food and soul-filling karaoke. Say hello to Sweet Caroline, Brickell’s first-ever karaoke bar. Since its grand opening in June, Sweet Caroline has proven to be unlike any other Miami bar. Located on 1111 SW 1st Ave, this bar features old-school decor mixed with the Latin touch everyone in Miami loves.
Open Tuesday through Saturday, Sweet Caroline caters to all types of fans, ranging from music junkies to comedy club lovers. Every Tuesday, the bar hosts its comedy night, which features local stand-up comedy acts and open mics. On Wednesdays, ladies drink completely free and can choose from sangria, champagne and even house cocktails. The bar can also be reserved for special events including birthdays, weddings and corporate events.
Those visiting the bar on karaoke nights can expect authentic cocktails and a menu of entrees and appetizers including chicken wings, sliders and french fries. The cocktail menu taps into your fun side with house cocktails named after the same songs you’ll be singing along to.
The idea behind this karaoke bar was no accident, as co-founders Juan Marcos Rancano and Antar Sosa said their vision for Sweet Caroline was to create something more than just “another cocktail bar.” They wanted to create a versatile venue, where music-lovers could embrace their passion for music while still having a good time.
Rancano, who is a local Brickell resident and entrepreneur, said “We felt like Brickell needed something different. I love my neighborhood, but it’s no secret that Brickell lacks personality. And even though there are quality bars on every corner, the Brickell nightlife leaves a little to be desired.”
The bar is also actively partnering with several Brickell businesses to contribute to the idea of making Brickell a community-oriented neighborhood. Local business owners can contact the bar to schedule sponsored events and special karaoke nights.
Sweet Caroline’s success stems from its relaxed environment, which promises to be a great choice for a post-work happy hour or a night out with friends. And yes, don’t worry, you don’t have to be a great singer to perform. So, bring on the throwbacks, the R&B raps and all-time classics cause “good times never seemed so good.”
